About me

I am Ishak Ismail. My friends call me sohoque, pronounced [so:hawk] since I was young. My domain sohoque.com comes from there.

What is interesting about me is that I am a financial consultant (have my own agency in Unit Trust and takaful) and at the same time I am a blogger. I can manage my working time because I have no formal working hour. My working hour is based on appointment made with my clients and prospects. That is why I dare to announce that I am a fulltime blogger.

That is why I rarely missed the events that I need to attend as a blogger. These events are important to me broaden my contacts for my blogging career. My income as a blogger basically comes from these events besides sponsored posts.

My dreams, hopes and ambition

My dream is to have a 5 figure income from my financial planning business and from blogging. I visualize myself as a successful Group Agency Manager and a preferred blogger in 3 years to come. This is my ambition. Hopefully it can be realized within a given time frame.

At that time I can help the agents registered under my agency to become a manager and have multiple incomes like me. I can help them through group and personal coaching as well as through my writing in my financial planning and business blog, caknawang.com. My other blog, sohoque.com will cover for my personal lifestyle, sponsored post and events attended.

Tips to make life more interesting

My life is interesting enough for me. The tips are be a businessman. Have your own working hour. Avoid company excessive target that can kill you. Run away from work under company pressure.

I achieve all these when I quit my job as a banker in one the biggest bank in Malaysia. Since then I joined Unit Trust and Takaful and managed to build agency in this financial planning industry.

At the same time I own blogs that can give me income. I gain followers and I can exchange ideas with them. The most important things are that I can share whatever I know with them. This is my utmost satisfaction in blogging. Sharing knowledge
